This is an older piece but personally it is one of my favourites and one that I am truly proud of. Half way through the process of drawing this, I realised I finally felt like I had a style to my art. I have struggled to stick to a style that I like. I still am very passionate about all areas in art and using different mediums but the way I applied them to a blank canvas was always changing and different. When I started this one I was like “I found you, now stay there and don’t go away.” I was very content with this one.
Will be adding prints to my online shop when it opens! YAY :D

1Hey guys, listen to this sick music! James Day, the young composer of these sick tunes, asked to use my art in his videos and of course i’m ok with that because I’m nice and because I am truly a fan of his music. James is very passionate about music as much as I am with my art.
If you’re into upbeat electronic dance music, you will love this. Even if you’re not a fan of that genre, give it a go. Before I listened to this I was listening to a lot of Bon Iver and St Vincent, so this was a drastic change for my ears haha.

A commission I did for Natalie who got this tattooed! (in black and white). For this coloured version, I used a photo I took on instagram while at soundwave (music fest) as the type and just a watercolour paper texture for the background. The lyrics are from a song from the academy is and I love that band, so it was awesome to work on something that I was familiar with. Was good fun! :D

Finished this one 😊I’m quite happy with how minimal this one is compare to my other illustrations. I probably used about 5 colours to complete it and that was a challenge! Moving onto another project that doesn’t involve paper or pencils 😮
